The Great Barrier Reef Foundation
Our partnership with the Great Barrier Reef Foundation supports research into the effects of climate change on the Great Barrier Reef. This partnership demonstrates our commitment to the environment and our desire to make a difference to the world in which we live.
Conservation Volunteers Australia
The Commonwealth Bank, together with Conservation Volunteers Australia, recognise and reward 20 young Australians between the ages of 16 and 23 who demonstrate leadership in environmental conservation each year.
Earth Hour
Earth Hour raises awareness of global warming and how we can all contribute to reducing our impact on the environment. On 29 March 2008, the Commonwealth Bank again supported Earth Hour by turning off our lights for one hour at 8.00 pm.
